     But like anything these days, things change at the speed of thought. Both PPC marketing AND affiliate marketing continue to evolve... so I knew we couldn’t rest on our laurels.      I never knew Amit Mehta existed; he liked to stay underground and do his own thing. Then, at Affiliate Summit East 2007. I hear some whispers in the corner.    

    As nosey as I am, I lean in to listen and it's some people reviewing the agenda and speaker schedule...

     "Wow, Amit is speaking? No way am I missing that!"

     I sit in during his presentation and his story leaves my jaw on the floor. He shows us his black card. But it wasn’t always easy pickings for Amit…

     When he started out on 2005, he was barely making ends meet as a grad-student. He was supporting himself – and a wife – with a measly $1277 a month. He didn’t have a clue how to build a website. In fact, he said he was a wet behind the ears newbie – he’d been a science major, so all this marketing gibberish as completely foreign to him.

     He struggled for a couple of years. He was a sucker for every biz-op he saw… and each one lead him deeper into debt…

     But the thing about Amit was he was one stubborn dude. Even after falling prey to a fistful of scams – he still felt he could strike it rich on the Internet. Even after getting knocked down time and time again, he kept getting back up.

     His family, friends thought he was out of his gourd. They called him a “dreamer”. And soon… they even stopped talking to him…

     Even his wife thought he was nuts… but she humored him each time he said “I’m going to make it”.

     Then – completely by accident – he stumbled upon the idea of adding PPC and Affiliate Marketing.  After trying and failing several times with the formula, one of his tests worked. He repeated it and the results were stunning!

     Since then, he’s added even more to his bag of tricks.

     I was floored and really wanted to meet him. I wanted to know what he was doing and if he would do an interview for our Affiliate Classroom students.

When I signed up for Amit's training I was consistently losing money . The classes laid a great foundation.
